Guanajuato, Gto., June 21, 2016.- Authorities of the Executive Power, Legislative Power and Judicial Power of the State of Guanajuato started the new Comprehensive System of Justice for Teenagers and inaugurated the Center of Justice for Teenagers.

To this ceremony attended, the General Rector of the University of Guanajuato (UG), representing the students from the degree in Law, who have the academic quality renowned in a world level accredited by the International Institute of Accreditation of Law A.C. (IIDEA), the first to grant this organism to a Latin American university.

To achieve such international recognition, the degree in Law from UG had to fulfill 185 indicators, among which stands out the high quality academic staff, students who transcend beyond the classrooms, infrastructure and support equipment, research, liaison, institutional regulations, academic-administrative handling, planning and evaluation process and administrative and financial management.

With an investment higher than 18 million MXN, this Center of Justice for Teenagers has a room for oral audits, a mediation room, a witness room, special courts for teenagers and impugnment courts, that is what the Magistrate Miguel Valadez Reyes revealed, President of the Supremo Tribunal de Justicia and the Consejo de Poder Judicial.

He added that in matter of infrastructure they adequate six hearing rooms, with their videotape equipment, in five venues of the state which are: Guanajuato, Irapuato, Celaya, San Miguel de Allende and León.

Congresswoman Maria Guadalupe Velázquez Díaz, president of the H. Congress of the State, precise that the new System will allow to achieve an expedite justice that will grant the insulted a just repair of the damage and the accused a sentence according the felony.

The State Governor, Lic. Miguel Márquez Márquez, assured that Guanajuato continues as "leader of the implementation of this new model," as a result of the joint work with the three powers of the state.

Also present were M. Carlos Zamarripa Aguirre, General Attorney of the State of Guanajuato, Lic. Edgar Castro Cerrillo, Municipal President of Guanajuato; among other personalities.
