Celaya, Gto., June 23, 2016.- The "Colegio de Psicólogos de Celaya AC" handed to Vianey Centeno, graduate from the degree in Clinical Psychology, a recognition for being the best prospect of her generation besides actively participating in practices during her time in the University of Guanajuato (UG).
Vianey Centeno belongs to the 2015 generation from the degree in Clinical Psychology, from Campus Celaya-Salvatierra. Her GPA was 9.6, with which she became the holder of an academic merit diploma from the University of Guanajuato, and in the General Exam of Graduates from a Degree (EGEL) her result was outstanding.
During her student life, her contribution to society was developed through academic and social service activities, and projects, among her activities, her participation in several companies and civil associations stand out, for example DeAcero, Voces de aliento and Centro Integral de Salud Mental de Celaya, A.C.
From her time through the Centro Integral de Salud Mental de Celaya, A.C., association dedicated to the schizophrenic, the graduate said it was one of the experiences she has valued more, "because helping vulnerable people is a unique professional satisfaction."
Currently, Vianey Centeno performs her professional practices in the General Hospital of Celaya, she is part of the program of "Prevention and attention to family violence", where she gives talks, makes interventions when people have crisis due to family problems, besides visiting hospitalized patients that need psychological aid.
About her passion for her work, she explains: "I like to be in touch with the patients, I can apply my knowledge obtained in the degree and help people when they need it. My time through Campus Celaya-Salvatierra is one of the greatest blessings in my life," and finally she invited all her peers to focus in their studies and share their knowledge with society.
The members of the College of Psychologists in the city and in charge of handing the distinction took her labor as a student and her contribution to the society in Celaya, and explained that they are engaged in giving her half a scholarship so she can continue with her postgraduate studies in a university in the region.
