Guanajuato, Gto., June 30, 2016. With the topic "Collaborate, thank and celebrate", the International Encounter on Work Teams celebrates its 20th anniversary, being faithful to the original mission: promote the participation, involvement and teamwork to achieve better organizational results and better quality of life for people.

The General Rector of the University of Guanajuato, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, welcomed the participants and emphasized that in business or institutions no achievement is possible without the solidary support of every member of the organization.

The Encounter, which occurs from June 30th to July 2nd, this year has the participation of organizations such as Aluprint, American Axle, Comex, Arca, Basf, Bader, Bosh, Bokados, Branson, Calidra, Carrier, CFE, Comex, Cummings, Cuprum, DeAcero, DMI, Magna Formex, Hella, Inmagusa, Johnson Controls; Mabe, Mahle, Monroe, Novem, Naturesweet, Peñoles, Petrotemex, Pepsico and Thyssenkrupp.

In the opening ceremony accompanied Dr. Guerrero Agripino, UG's Pro Vost, Ph.D. Héctor Efraín Rodríguez de la Rosa; Director of liaison, Ph.D. Salvador Hernández Castro and the General Coordinator of the University Center of Liaison with the Environment, Lic. Ma. Teresa González Téllez.

The International Encounter on Work Teams has provided opportunities to students that voluntarily participate in it, to contact organizational leaders and potential employers. Likewise, the students achieve agreements of professional practice and organizational stays. Many businesses that attend have participated in process of curricular re-design of UG's educative programs, providing valuable information on the programs' pertinence.
