Guanajuato, Gto., June 29, 2016.- Inequality and social exclusion art historical phenomena that construct from several factors, "the people who directly experience the social exclusion are immigrants, refugees, people of low income, linguistic minorities, members of minority ethnic groups, disabled, sick or homeless people and unfortunately today, also women."

The previous is information from the United Nations for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO) that the General Rector of Campus Guanajuato of the University of Guanajuato, Dr. Javier Corona, highlighted in his speech during the opening of an international colloquium organized by the Department of Education with the themed axis: the "Educational Social Inclusion-exclusion. Paradigms and realities."

The colloquium will last three days, so it will end next Friday July 1st, it is precise to mention that this activity is done with the purpose to provide a space to reflect on the evolution and the current state of the policies and reforms towards the exclusion-inclusion; as well as sharing the results of research, theoretical constructions, analysis, experiences, etc.

The General Rector of the University of Guanajuato, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, was responsible for the official inauguration of the colloquium. In his message, he remarked the role the universities have, which, have to be social responsible and aware of the environment they develop in. He congratulated the members of the academic cores, researchers, professors, specialists and students who are interested in "such a significant topic as the educational exclusion and inclusion."

On her part, the coordinator from the Network of Social.historical Studies in Education, Dr. Mireya Martí Reyes, distinguished the collaboration and alliances among the University of Guanajuato, the Universidad de Guadalajara and the Universidad de Granada (Spain), institutions that participate in the colloquium.

Among the topic that will cover the 3-day colloquium stand out: the policies and reforms for the educational social inclusion; the theoretical-methodological paradigms of the inclusion-exclusion; the gender as a factor of exclusion and also the inclusion and diversity.

At the event was also present M.A. Luis Jesús Ibarra Manrique, Director of the Department of Education.
