Guanajuato, Gto., July 1, 2016.- Guanajuato's High School professors were trained in Chemistry and Biology, both courses were taken in the facilities of High School Guanajuato.

The objective of the courses if the continuous formation of scholars through disciplinary update, with the purpose to address the importance of the update the scholars in the new progress of Experimental Science specially in Chemistry and Biology.

They met new methods, processes, discoveries that can be used to complement the practice in the classroom, benefiting the students, central point of the scholar practice.

The courses were coordinated by Dr. Claudia Erika Morales Hernández, professor at HS Guanajuato in collaboration with the M.C. Juana López Godínez of the Division of Natural and Exact Sciences of the University of Guanajuato, with support from the Director of Psychology Juana Silvina Galván Rocha from HS Guanajuato.

46 professors from HS Guanajuato, Irapuato, Pénjamo, Salamanca, San Luis de la Paz, Moroleón, Salvatierra and Centro Histórico León participated in the Biology course. There was the participation of advisors and professors from the Department of Biology from the DNCE of the University of Guanajuato, who taught topics of evolution, cell, metabolism, anatomy of plants and biosystematics.

The advisors that participated in this workshop were: Dr. Héctor Manuel Mora Montes, Dr. Patricia Ponce Noyola, Dr. Juan Carlos Torres Guzmán, Dr. Felipe Padilla Vaca and Dr. Bernardo Franco, addressing the topics of Genetics, Molecular Biology, Genome project, Epigenetics and Biotechnology.

It is worth mentioning that the last session emitted by Dr. Bernardo Franco was interactive and by distance, so the scholars could establish communication during the course through electronic gadgets from their venues.

It was possible to corroborate the innovation, utility and easiness of the electronic mean in distance in our teaching practice, which shortens the distance between different participants.

Regarding the Chemistry course, 35 professors from HS Guanajuato, Irapuato, Pénjamo, Salvatierra, Centro Histórico León, San Luis de la Paz, Celaya, León, Silao participated. The course was given by professors Dr. Ubaldo Morales Álvarez in two sessions, Dr. Cesar Rogelio Solorio in two sessions, Dr. Norma Leticia Gutiérrez Ortega and Dr. Gustavo Cruz Jiménez (in Distance) from DCNE and Division of Engineering Campus Guanajuato from UG, who gave the subjects Cellular theory and Chemical links, Organic Chemistry and Analytic Chemistry.

Attending professors commented that this type of course allows them to share information among scholars from other schools, which motivates them to begin organizing for the next year, providing continuity to these courses.
