
León, Gto. July 4, 2016.- With the purpose to promote reach and development of the Interpretative Audiovisual Ethnography (ETNOAI), at the Universidad Autónoma de Hidalgo, there was an intensive workshop with the outstanding workshop of Dr. Maricruz Romero Ugalde, professor-researcher at the Division of Social Sciences and Human Studies of Campus León.
This time, the presence of the University of Guanajuato was enriched with the collaboration of students and professors on the topic about cinematographic language which was developed by the professor at Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, Jeremías Ramírez Vasillas, and had the technical support of Jorge Ramírez Rodríguez, a graduate from the degree in Administration in the same campus.
Just like Elizabeth Navarro Jerónimos, a Social Anthropology student at Campus León and participant of the 7th Summer of Scientific Research in Businesses and Governmental Dependencies.
The Laboratory of Teaching and Research (ETNOAI) developed by Dr. Romero Ugalde at the University of Guanajuato, Campus León, currently has more than 30 documentaries, product of this methodology.
In the workshop, was highlighted the intervention of students and professors from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo, Institute of Anthropological Research from UNAM, Universidad Pedagógica Nacional del Estado de Hidalgo and the University of Guanajuato (UG).
The link between science and art proposed by the ETNOAI's methodology is applied in the production of three short documentaries that are proof of the academic life at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo, addressing topics such as: analysis of the perception of the constructed environment (architecture), the modified (landscape) and the health services offered in the institution.
