León, Gto., July 6, 2016.- The University of Guanajuato (UG) Campus León handed to 72 students the award that accredits them as graduates from the bachelor degree in Medical Surgeon Class of '16 (Generation 2011-2016). This educational program is 71 years old in the institution, and from it have graduated outstanding medics in the state.

During the message, the Rector of Campus León, Dr. Carlos Hidalgo Valadez, commented that 80% of the pathologies present in society can be addressed by them. He highlighted the quality of the medics formed in UG, "we have the best GPAs in medicine," he pointed out.

Likewise, he remarked that the best input the University has, are the students, and, it will continue to do so to answer the needs of the country. It is worth mentioning that 10% of the students of this generation participated in international mobility summons divulged by the very own UG through the Direction of International Relations and Academic Collaboration.

During the ceremony, the student Victor Manuel Vargas Guerrero used the voice to represent the student community in a profound message of pertinence and friendship. He pointed among the presents that since 2011 they chose to dedicate to the most jealous degrees of all.

At the event where present Dr. Luxana Reynaga Ornelas, Academic Secretary of Campus León; Dr. Tonatiuh García Campos, Director of the Division of the Health Science; Dr. Francisco Ernesto González Bravo, Director of the Department of Medicine and Nutrition; and Dr. Carlos Acosta Martínez, Coordinator of the Phase III of the Educational Program of Medical Surgeon.
