
León, Gto., a 6 de julio de 2016.- "Our society demands more and better professionals in Nursery," that is what Dr. Carlos Hidalgo Valadez expressed; Rector of Campus León during the closing ceremony of the Class of '16 from the degree in Nursing and Midwifery, venue León.
The act was held in the auditorium "Jorge Ibargüengoitia" of the venue Forum, where 59 students received the award that accredits them as graduates from this educational program. Equally, Dr. Hidalgo Valadez, exhorted them to never abandon the three actions of the professionals: teaching, assistance and research.
During the intervention of the Director of the Division of Health Science, Dr. Tonatiuh García Campos, mentioned the importance and the bastion that the University of Guanajuato represents for education of the country; specially in the area of Nursing. He also highlighted the recognition and accreditations before the bodies of evaluating peers.
Representing the student community, Jessica de la Cruz Reyes gave a message where she highlighted the great effort and work flow that the degree demanded in those four years. Likewise, she remarked the work and dedication of the academic community during their formation.
Also present were Dr. Luxana Reynaga Ornelas, Academic Secretary of Campus León; M.A. Yolanda Camacho Hernández, Director of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery venue León; and M.A. María del Carmen Pérez Cortés, Coordinator of the program of Nursing and Midwifery, venue León.
