Guanajuato, Gto., July 22, 2016.- The University of Guanajuato (UG) was renowned by the QS University Rankings of Latin America within the three Mexican universities that develop high impact research in the region.

Likewise, the Maximum House of Studies placed in the 20th place in the citation metric of its researchers in indexed articles, through which they seek to measure the impact and influence the institution's publications have had.

The QS World University Rankings is a higher education community that allows students to check information on diverse institutions. It was founded in 2004 and it is an annual publication of universities' rankings in the world, published by Quacquarelli Symonds, a British company specialized in education.

This ranking compares more than 800 higher education institutions in the world and relies on 6 key indicators to qualify them: academic reputation, employer reputation, student-work ratio, research quotation metric, international worker-student's ratio.

It is worth mentioning that the QS World University Rankings also allow to filter the university search by country, region or knowledge area.
