León, Gto., July 27, 2016.- With the objective to encourage the citizen participation to inhibit corruption and contribute to the control and vigilance of the administration's doing, the guidelines and profile of the Citizen Council of the Municipal Social Comptroller were created.

The University of Guanajuato Campus León, linked with the Comptroller of the city of León, participated in this initiative to create the Citizen Council, with which, also pretends to boost the efficiency, effectivity and account settling.

The event was held in the Auditorium Jorge Ibargüengoitia where the guidelines and bases were revealed as well as the summon's bases to select the nine candidates that will integrate the Citizen Council of Social Comptroller.

Lic. Laura Lozano, Coordinator of Liaison of Campus León, representing Dr. Carlos Hidalgo Valadez, Rector of Campus, highlighted the collaboration of professor-researchers and experts from UG.

Among UG's researchers, that are collaborating are: Dr. Alex Caldera Ortega, Dr. Armando Chaguaceda Noriega, M.A. Armando Ramírez Zamarripa; and Dr. Carlos Román Courdurier Real, who worked several weeks together with members of the Social Comptroller to profile a Citizen Council and participate responsibly in the presented initiative by the mayor Héctor López Santillana.
