Guanajuato, Gto., July 30, 2016.- As a result of the collaboration agreement between the High School College (CNMS for its acronym in Spanish) and NIT of Nagaoka, Ibaraki, Oyama and Fukushima, students of the Technological Baccalaureate with International Profile (BTPI) from HS Salamanca and Guanajuato obtained a scholarship for a stay in Japan for 2 weeks.

Bases in the summon for learning Japanese and visiting the National Institutes of Technology (NIT) and with the purpose to strengthen the developed skills by students in the BTPI, such students obtained the scholarship for the stay.

The first week consisted in attending diverse activities and academic workshops taught by the NIT departments, Nagaoka College, including the construction of a Lego robot and the design and assembly of products.

During the second week, they visited the rest of the partner institutions, NIT, Oyama College, Ibaraki College and Fukushima College, where they toured the facilities and laboratories.

Likewise, the students were able to observe and coexist with Japanese students in their academic activities and led a presentation about the University of Guanajuato and everyday life in the High Schools, they spoke about next internationalization activities between UG's high school and partner institutions, among them, the visit from Japanese students to Mexico during the rest of the year and in 2017.

Finally, they visited Soka University, which has an agreement with UG, with the mean that the students knew the academic offer of the institution in case of continuing their studies in the University of Guanajuato through academic exchanges.
