The graduate from the University of Guanajuato (UG) and film director, Lic. César Guevara, presented the animated short in stop-motion titled "Life" at the Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF) 2016.

The short film is a cyclic story, that shows a desolated space where nature tries to find a way to perpetuate life.

This cinematographic project emerges as the result of the frame-by-frame animation workshop that graduates from the degree in Graphic Design from UG taught last year, thanks to an invite originated by the short film "El Regreso", which obtained the prize in the category "Best Guanajuatense short film" in last year's GIFF.

"Life" participated in the category of the Guanajuato's Official Selection and in the execution of the same were involved Julio César Villalobos Rodríguez, Rodrigo Andrade, Sonia Alicia Ramírez, Itzel Juárez.

In addition, César Guevara participated in the realization of the short film "Mateo", which competes in the same category and is under the direction of Paloma Orduño Mancera, this is about childhood fear, how it evolves and how to fight it.

In an interview, César confesses to be a faithful spectator of GIFF since its origins, but until 2003, he began participating with short films, he has presented 15 works, in which he has performed in diverse activities as editor, producer and director.

It is worth mentioning that currently he is part of the Collective Transgéminis, an independent group formed by young enthusiasts of films, who make their projects with own resources and with the exchange of talent.
