July 29, 2016.- The University of Guanajuato through the Division of Social and Administrative Sciences of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, offers the degree by distance of Business Management, which the field of study integrates knowledge, principles and methods of managements focused in commercial activities.

This degree has a practical orientation since its finality is to develop competencies in the graduate for the labor contexts and so they can create or incorporate to a business where they set in practice the acquired knowledge. The advantage before other systems is that it can be coursed online so the student could develop his activities daily without affecting the work or activity he or she performs and it lasts 8 terms.

Dr. Juan Morua, coordinator of the educational program, explained "the students will be able to work and study a degree at the same time, except this time the professors are at the university and from there, they'll guide the students through videoconferences and lectures, in a way that the students will have to develop the tasks from home".

With this degree they seek to provide opportunities of professional development to a more extended public such as housewives, traders, and those people who work and wish to complete a major, but their activities prevent them to attend a classroom.

The degree lasts four years and comprehends basic subjects, of specialization and deepening, the latter diversifies in 14 branches that, at due time, the student will choose one; fiscal, accounting and auditing, corporate finance, international business, corporate law, sales and commercialization, human capital administration, technology for business, planning and projects, administration of nonprofit entities, creation and growth of business, quality systems, touristic and logistic businesses and supply chain.
