
Celaya, Gto., a 30 de julio de 2016.- 108 positions were delivered for interns at the majors of Nutrition, Clinical Psychology and Nursery that belong to the Division of Health Science and Engineering of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, that is how M.A. Aleida Ocampo informed, responsible for the social service of the health area.
M.A. Ocampo detailed that the social service is a mandatory academic period of social projection, which develops in different units of first and second level of attention, where they apply the knowledge, skills and aptitudes acquired during classes. In this process, students that decided to do their service in institutions from the health department participated, among them are Hospital General de Celaya, León, Salamanca & Salvatierra; Hospital comunitario de Apaseo el Alto, Cortázar y Comonfort; IMMS Celaya y Texcoco; Unidades Médicas Familiares en Salamanca, Salvatierra & Celaya; ISSTE, Celaya, Guanajuato & Villagrán; CAISES de Celaya, Juventino Rosas & Guanajuato; Hospital Militar Irapuato & Hospital Regional de Alta Especialidad en León.
For August, they expect 195 students more to integrate to give their services and knowledge to distinct areas from the department of health, such as the institutions of attendance, research and development. Among the receiving institutions, we can find the program PAIS from the University of Guanajuato, PROPAS, Military Hospital of Irapuato and UNAM's Institute of Neurobiology.
At the public event were present Dr. Jorge Lira Gómez, Coordinator of Interns from the Department of Health at Guanajuato; Dr. Beatriz Marlene Alba Pimentel, Delegation Coordinator in Guanajuato of Education in Health from IMSS; Dr. Jacinto Medina Rosales, ISSSTE representative; M.A. Luz María Cardona Torres, Representative from IMSS; M. Ana María Padilla Aguirre, DCSI's director and M.A. Patricia Sandoval Jiménez, State Coordinator of Teaching in Nursing from the Department of Health in Guanajuato.
