Guanajuato, Gto., August 5, 2016.- With great participation concluded the diplomas that through the Coordination of Continuous Education were taught in the Division of Engineering (DI) of Campus Guanajuato: Diploma in Residues, Safety and Hygiene and Risk Studies; Diploma in Public work site budgeting and Diploma in Structural Geology, which were held in the first semester of the year in course and were taken, mostly, as a title mean.

The purpose of these diplomas is to continue strengthening the competencies in the technical and administrative are of the public ambience, precise Lic. Alejandro Márquez Rodríguez, head of the Coordination of Continuous Education of the Division of Engineering (DI) of Campus Guanajuato and the link to such area, Eng. Carlos Álvarez Ruiz.

They explained that the Diploma in Residues, Safety and Hygiene and Risk Studies, lasted 130 hours dated March 4th and ended on July 1st, which was divided in four modules focused in knowledge about strategies for the comprehensive handling of urban solid residue, of special handling and hazardous residues, same that were given by M.A. Francisco Guerrero, M.A. Jorge Valencia Huerta and Eng. Alfonso Rodríguez Maya.

This diploma had 27 participants, from which the 96% took it as a mean to obtain the degree.

As for the Diploma in Public Worksite Budgeting, it lasted 200 hours, began on February 5th and ended of July 2nd, divided in seven modules focused to knowledges of planning, programming, budgeting, adjudication, hiring, private and public worksite execution according with the applicable normativity, and taught by the Eng. Carlos Álvarez Ruiz, Eng. Federico Pérez Tapía, Eng. Jesús Salvador Chagoya Garnica and guest exposers.

This diploma had 30 participants from which 54% took it as a degree mean.

It is worth mentioning that the previous diploma already has 16 continuous years of validity within the educational offer of Continuous Education of the Division of Engineering.

Finally, the Diploma in Structural Geology, lasted 150 hours and began on May 9th to finish on July 9th, divided in three modules focused to theoretical and practical knowledge to apply the acquired knowledge in mining, exploring, civil worksite companies, which were taught by Eng. Juan Esteban García Dobarganes Bueno, Eng. Pablo Francisco Pérez Pérez and Dr. Gilles Levresse.

This diploma had 19 participants from which 74% took it as a degree mean. Hence, the area of Continuous Education, will continue generating programs that answer the needs of formation and updating.
