León, Gto., August 11, 2016.- With the objective to reaffirm the institutional commitment to contribute to the strengthening of the economic and business development, the University of Guanajuato (UG) participated in the oath ceremony of the Directors Council 2016-2018 of COPARMEX.

To reaffirm the support to the sector, representing UG's General Rector, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, attended the Pro Vost of the Maximum House of Studies, Dr. Héctor Efraín Rodríguez de la Rosa.

The Patronal Confederation of the Mexican Republic is a syndicate of voluntary affiliation, conformed by businessman from all sectors, that seek to represent in the social and labor ambience.

The comprehensive formation of the student community is a commitment of the University of Guanajuato and the link with the businessman in the state is an important platform for the encouragement of such, which is a fundamental tool for the transformation and transcendence of Mexico.

It is worthy to mention that COPARMEX is composed by a network of 65 business centers, 13 federations, 2 representations and 14 delegations in all the states of the Republic. Furthermore, 27 national work commissions dedicate to the study and generation of proposals in the most important themes of economy and society.
