Guanajuato, Gto., August 11, 2016.- For over 20 years the Extension Unit of San Miguel de Allende from Campus Guanajuato provides an educational offer sustained in the area of languages: English courses and language workshops, which they maintain an enrollment of approximately 190 students, therefore, it is now a referent in the teaching of languages in the city and the region.

For this semester Aug-Dec, the extension unit continues this academic offer, so they invite all the interested to get in touch since the inscriptions finish on August 13.

Among the options, are the English courses for adults, that consist on 8 levels and can coursed from 14 years old, from Monday to Thursday in the evening, or Saturdays from 10 am to 3 pm. The classes begin on Monday August 15th, and the Saturday course begins on August 20th. The inscription cost for semester is $2,300 MXN pesos.

They also offer an English workshop for children, which covers the ages from 8 to 13 years old and classes will begin on August 15th. The cost of inscription by semester is $1,900 MXN pesos.

The other option is the French workshop for beginners, that can be courses starting from 14 years old, from Monday to Thursday in the evening. Begins classes on August 15th and has an inscription cost by semester of $2,300 MXN pesos.

Likewise, Dr. Cecilia Tovar Hernández, Coordinator of this Extension Unit, revealed that this semester will have again the "Workshop of comprehensive and professional development: Successful woman," whose objective is to lead the way of professional and personal life, managing to equilibrate the cost-benefit of the personal and professional success. The dates for the workshop are October 14,21, 28 this year; the inscription period will be from September 1 to 30, with an investment for every participant of $1,800 MXN pesos.

In addition of courses and workshops, the Extension Unit of San Miguel de Allende is also responsible for broadening the cultural and artistic offer in the city, through conferences and the presence of Cinema Club, initiatives that have had a magnificent response from the public, hence, for this beginning semester there are already seven conferences on history, art, architecture and philosophy are already programmed; besides the exhibition of several cinema cycles, which will begin on August 18th with the Oscar Cinema Cycle.
