
Irapuato, Gto., August 16, 2016.- To update the knowledge of veterinary medicine, Campus Irapuato-Salamanca of the University of Guanajuato makes the V Journey of Veterinary and Zootechny Medicine, that from August 16 to 18 is held in Irapuato.
In this edition, 23 conferences and 2 workshops are offered and taught by representatives of businesses in the branch and professional scholars. The conferences will address topics of emergencies, surgical techniques, neurology and immunology and the importance of MVZ in slaughterhouses, among others.
The student Maria Isabel Rubio informed that with the academic and cultural activities celebrate the Day of the Veterinary Medic on August 17th and welcome the students to this educational program, who were admitted at the Division of Life Sciences.
This school cycle, 90 students passed the admission exam to study veterinary in the venue El Copal.
The City Hall's Regent, Lic. Victor Manuel Zanella Huerta, representing the municipal president, Arch. Ricardo Ortíz Gutiérrez, invited UG students to follow their dreams and have the calling for service. He recognized the work from the actual Rector, Dr. Ernesto Camarena Aguilar and expressed to be proud of UG and the youth who are determined to make Irapuato a better city.
The Director of the Division of Life Sciences, Dr. Eduardo Salazar Solis, highlighted that the students of this career actively participate by linking with related institutions and organizations with human and animal health.
The Rector of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca, Dr. Ernesto Camarena Aguilar inaugurated the V Journey of Veterinary Medicine, accompanied by the MVZ Armando Lozano Loza, Director of Sanitation from SDAYR; MVZ Fausto Mendoza Yépez, President of the MVZ School of Guanajuato; MVZ José Antonio Flores Estrada, Coordinator of Sanitation campaigns from the porcine sub-committee, as well as the presidents from MV schools of Irapuato and León, respectively.
The first talk was in charge of the President of the State College of MVZ, Fausto Mendoza Yépez "The importance of the schooling in the veterinary guild," followed by the conference from the congressman Éctor Jaime Ramírez Barba who spoke about the "Open parliament and public politics," where he called all the soon-to-be professionals to participate.
