Guanajuato, Gto., August 16, 2016.- With the purpose to divulge and expand the research work done by the professors at the University of Guanajuato (UG), there was a presentation of the editorial catalogue of the Division of Law, Politics and Government 2008-2016 from Campus Guanajuato.

The event was held in the Law's Hall of Acts at UG's Central Building, place where students and professors from the division gathered, who have contributed to the development of publication for eight years to make this catalogue possible.

In his intervention, the General Rector of the University of Guanajuato, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino mentioned that "this catalogue offers information of eight years of production, that serve as a guide to explore different research topics related to three important disciplines: Law, Public Management and Political Science."

Likewise, he highlighted the relevance of the divulgation of academic work done by professors and students that are developed at the University of Guanajuato, the same that have to cause an impact both outside and inside the educational institution.

Afterwards, representing the Rector of Campus Guanajuato, Dr. Javier Corona, spoke M.A. Anuar Jalife Jacobo, director of extension of such campus, who distinguished the responsibility that a scholar possesses to expose reflections, analysis and critic on our political and social life.

He emphasized that the University of Guanajuato forms citizens engages with the truth and service to society, as a proof, there is the research and extension labor presented in the books and magazines in the catalogue, which are, a fundamental tool of information and transmission of knowledge.

On her part, the director of the Division of Law, Politics and Government, Dr. Teresita de Jesús Rendón Huerta, made the audience know that the catalogue has 36 Law works, 8 books of Public Management and 15 publications of Political Studies, and also has indexed scientific divulgation magazines such as "Ciencia Jurídica."

At the event were also present the director of the Department of Law, Dr. Eduardo Pérez Alonso; director of the Department of Political Studies and Government, Dr. Carlos Román Cordourier; director of the Department of Public Management, Dr. Fernando Díaz Pérez.
